WELCOME TO CAMDEN STUD

CAMDEN STUD was established in 2007 to produce the highest quality Standardbred bloodstock for harness racing. We have two facilities, one in West Yorkshire as winter quarters for our Standardbred stallion, broodmares and foals, and one in North Yorkshire for summer grazing and preparation of our yearlings for sale.

Our Standardbred broodmares have been specially selected, being daughters of the most noted broodmare sires in North America such as “Jate Lobell”, “Matts Scooter”, “Cam Fella”, “Presidential Ball”, “Apaches Fame” etc; additionally they are all out of top producing maternal families. Many of the most successful stud farms throughout the world have been built on the foundation strength of their broodmare band.

Our resident stallion “Yankee Lariat” was chosen for his strong pedigree, great conformation and successful racing career, and we firmly believe that he will also make a solid contribution to the foundation of CAMDEN STUD. It is our firm intention to produce Standardbred bloodstock of the highest quality, from foaling to the sales arena.
